What is Augmented Reality?

Augmented Reality merges the physical and digital worlds. A phone or tablet becomes a portal to an interactive piece of art. Part video, part invisible website, AR adds movement and magic to handmade artwork that is only achievable through this fascinating new medium.

AR never completely abandons the real world, instead it embraces the environment as a crucial part of the narrative. Rather than a distraction a phone enhances our experience of the natural world. Instead of isolating the viewer, this medium encourages interaction through screens. Connection is never lost.

Food typography is a perfect pairing. Everyday objects have familiar textures and shadows that make viewers draw closer. The future is familiar, bright, and palatable.
